Hero: Randall Edmunds

Randall Edmunds was the first Red Devil to play in the NFL.

After helping lead the Red Devils to state Class C titles in 1962 and 1963, Randall set several defensive records at Georgia Tech. He played for Baltimore and Miami during his several seasons in the NFL.

After teaching at LCHS in the late 1970's and obtaining his Educational Doctorate, Dr. Edmunds was elected Superintendent of Lincoln County schools, an office where he continues to serve.
