Traveling to Lincolnton
From points south
Travelers coming from the south have two primary paths:
US 1 (Swainsboro/Louisville/Wrens) then thru Thomson to Lincolnton
You will make a left-hand turn in Wrens to leave US 1 (which goes to Augusta) and head north to Thomson. You will go straight through Thomson, and be on US78.  After you pass over I-20, you will go about 3 miles and turn right on Ga43 at the foot of the firetower.  Continue about 24 miles to the first red light in Lincolnton.  Turn right on Ga47, go about a half mile, and take first left onto Lillian Sims Avenue.  Buddy Bufford Field is on the right at the end of the street. The main gate is on Lillian Sims, with parking behind either stands and along Lillian Sims.  The visitor stands are the metal stands (on the left from the main entrance).  Turn left at the red light for Hardee's, Huddle House, and convenience stores.  Continue straight at the light for downtown Lincolnton.

Ga121/US25 (Millen/Waynesboro) then thru Augusta to Lincolnton
Follow Ga121/US25 north to I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) just south of Augusta.  Head west on I-520.  Stay on I-520 until it changes from Interstate to regular road (just after it passes under I-20). Continue through the red lights (several sets) moving to the left lanes, until you reach Washington Road (Ga104). Turn left onto Washington Road and head north; do not make any more turns until you reach Lincolnton. This area is Martinez. You will continue north on this road and go through Evans. Ga104 joins Ga47 at Leah. You will continue straight on Ga47, over Clark Hill Lake, and into Lincoln County. About 15 miles past the Lake, you will enter Lincolnton. The first or third streets on the right will take you to the High School and football field. The third street (Lillian Sims Avenue) is recommended, and many fans park along this street. Buddy Bufford Field is on the right at the end of the street. The main gate is on Lillian Sims, with parking behind either stands and along Lillian Sims. The visitor stands are the metal stands (on the left from the main entrance). If you miss the turn and come to a red light, take a right at the light and then a right in town at Bell's Supermarket. This will take you to the field.

From Atlanta and points west
For travelers coming from Atlanta, you will want to take I-20 to Thomson, heading east (over the overpass) on US78. Turn right on Ga43 at the foot of the firetower, and continue (about 24 miles) to the first red light in Lincolnton. Continue straight at he light for downtown Lincolnton.

From Washington and points northeast
For travelers coming through Washington, follow US78 to US378. When entering Lincolnton, turn right just past Hardees. Follow Ga47 about a half mile, and take first left onto Lillian Sims Avenue.
