North Augusta Team Comes Here Friday

November 02, 1933

Meeting perhaps its strongest foe of the season, the Lincolnton High football eleven will "lock horns", so to speak, with a strong and well balanced team from North Augusta on the local gridiron Friday afternoon.

Last Friday the Lincolnton boys emerged with a 14-13 victory over Warrenton, the game being played in Warrenton. Several of the boys sustained injuries of minor nature, but the entire team is reported in excellent condition for tomorrow's encounter.

North Augusta will bring a team here that has suffered only one defeat after playing some of the outstanding teams of the Palmetto State, and it will require all the stamina the lads possess to hold them down.

The game should draw a large crowd as it will be one of the best of the season.
