With Lincoln County on the verge of winning the 400th game during Larry Campbell's tenure as head coach, we thought it appropriate to honor one of the unsung Heroes of Lincoln County football - Mrs. Larry Campbell.
Connie Campbell has attended all but two of Larry's games since he became head coach in 1972. That's 470 of 472 games. Only one person has attended more Lincoln County games during that time - Legendary Larry.
Connie is always the first at the sideline gate, ready to go on the field after the final whistle to congratulate Larry on a win, or console him after the occasional loss. She has helped the program, the school, and the community in countless ways during the past 36 years.
We are very proud to honor Connie Campbell, and welcome her to our distinguished Hall of Heroes.
Our thanks to Gene Walker for nominating Connie to our Hall of Heroes!
